I Just Had a Baby: Is BodyTite Right for Me?

It’s no secret that having a baby changes your body. And, unfortunately, many women struggle indefinitely, trying to restore their pre-pregnancy figure. That’s where we can help.

At LoneStar Bariatrics, Dr. Chad Carlton and our team understand the challenges that come with weight loss, especially after life-changing events like pregnancy and childbirth. Fortunately, we have numerous strategies to help you reach a healthy weight and love your body at the same time.

Here’s how the InMode® BodyTite™ system can help you restore your figure after having a baby.

Introducing BodyTite

The BodyTite system is a groundbreaking body contouring technology from InMode. This minimally invasive solution can coagulate fat and contours tissue all in a single treatment. The result? Less fat and tighter, firmer skin exactly where you want it.

BodyTite uses directional radiofrequency energy powered by RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis). This innovative approach delivers precise levels of heat to each layer of tissue in the treatment area — from the deepest fat layers all the way to the skin’s surface. In response, stubborn fat cells in the treatment site melt away while your skin and collagen tighten, leaving a sculpted and contoured body behind.

Not only does BodyTite provide dramatic results without the need for more invasive surgical procedures, but it also has built-in safeguards, like real-time skin temperature monitoring, power cut-off, and audible feedback to ensure patient safety.

When to consider BodyTite

BodyTite provides dramatic results by melting away stubborn pockets of fat while firming the treatment site at the same time. And, thanks to its minimally invasive approach, it’s an ideal body contouring solution for numerous people.

Dr. Carlton recommends BodyTite for people in generally good health who have:

It’s also highly effective for people looking to restore their figures after pregnancy.

What to expect from BodyTite

BodyTite treatments usually take less than an hour.

After administering local anesthesia to numb the treatment site, Dr. Carlton makes a tiny incision. This is to insert the thin InMode BodyTite system probe so it can deliver RF energy internally. As Dr. Carlton moves the probe throughout the area, the external portion of the BodyTite device applies energy to the top-most layers of your skin simultaneously.

These direct waves underneath and above the surface of your skin trigger an advanced remodeling process, but you won’t feel a thing. Not only that, but you’ll notice some results immediately.

After your treatment, you could have some swelling, discomfort, or pain. It’s also common to have some mild bruising. Dr. Carlton could recommend wearing compression garments depending on your treatment.

Over the following two weeks, your body will continue flushing fat cells from your system. With this type of body contouring treatment, you can expect to see maximum results within 3-6 months. However, you could continue seeing improvements for up to a year.

To maintain your results after BodyTite treatment, you have to follow a healthy diet and exercise plan. Our team can help you create a plan based on your overall goals and lifestyle.
